MTN Nigeria is back again with yet another way to connect you to your mega downloads. This unlimited download has taken several turns. From being slow to being blocked and being changed to another means. Another of this means seems to be back online and can work on both android and PC. Imagi e downloading 50GB for just 100 naira.

Steps for PC
-First, get an MTN sim,send BBMIDID  to 21600
-Wait for a text confirming your successful registration. Ignore if it says you have 15MB.
-Now,there are 2 apps that do the trick. Either simple server (LINK) or Xt181 (LINK).
-These two work but i prefer xt181 as it has a more refined interface,shows you your transfer rate and transferred data count.
-Download either of the 2 and you are good to go.
-Connect your modem with 3G fro best results with default mtn settings and then run either of the apps.
-For simple server,wait for the interface to load and show ready
-For xt181 wait for it to open and the click listen. You should notice 2 green lights on the app. One meaning you are connected to the mtn network and the other meaning that you are ready for mega downloads.
-Now to use the mega download, change the proxy address and port of your applications to 127.0 0.1 and ports to 8080
. It works for antiviruses,browsers such as mozilla and internet explorer,download managers.

-It involves 3 basic steps

-Install and configure with the settings below
open simple server and configure the settings:
proxy host: 10.199.212.2
Proxy Port: 8080
Injection Method: get
Injection querry/url: http://web.blackberry.com
Injection Host: web.blackberry.com
Injection line: press your enter key 4 times
Log level: debug

-Register for the BBMIDID plan and get tour confirmation
-Now,create a new access point with the following settings
Proxy: 127.0.0.1
Port: 8080
APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net

-Activate this new access point and ensure that your mobile data logo is showing.

 Now,open your simpleserver and click START. It should start spinning and showing upload and download counts. You can now surf and download unlimitedly. Use UCweb for best speeds.
